Sapphire – A lovely day in a field of goldenrod

A story of the origin of fairies appears in the 1906 Sir J. M. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy. Barrie wrote, “…when the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.” I think this is as good a story for the creation of fairies as any.

Ember Elk - Illustration - Secret Magics of Maine

I know I am not doing any thing new, but I am excited to have this put together.  Word Press and Zen Photo are two great pieces of Tech.  I can now blog about my illustrations and and have great gallery’s for them. Now the next level is going to be making a templates to bring the two under the same motif. Oh well, one step at a time.

Lost Art 1
