Goat detained over armed robbery

January 26th, 2009 | Category: humor grab bag

This was an article from Yahoo News. You can’t make this stuff up.

Police in Nigeria are holding a goat on suspicion of attempted armed robbery.

Vigilantes took the black and white beast to the police saying it was an armed robber who had used black magic to transform himself into a goat to escape arrest after trying to steal a Mazda 323.

“The group of vigilante men came to report that while they were on patrol they saw some hoodlums attempting to rob a car. They pursued them. However one of them escaped while the other turned into a goat,” Kwara state police spokesman Tunde Mohammed told Reuters by telephone.

“We cannot confirm the story, but the goat is in our custody. We cannot base our information on something mystical. It is something that has to be proved scientifically, that a human being turned into a goat,” he said.

Belief in witchcraft is widespread in parts of Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation. Residents came to the police station to see the goat, photographed in one national newspaper on its knees next to a pile of straw.

My Christmas Card for 2008

December 31st, 2008 | Category: humor grab bag

This year Santa is once again trying to figure out how to get the presents to all the good children of the world.   It is never a dull day in the Elf Labs and this year is no exception.  Finding an inter-dimensional  portal system on a map he found years back, Santa is trying to get present to the girls and boys by shifting art through a portal system.  But nothing ever goes easy.   Check out my 2008 Christmas card to see the problems that ensue.

A great thing to sit through

December 30th, 2008 | Category: humor grab bag

Ever get that call from telemarketer and you wish you just a bit more witty to have said something to them.  Well this man has and it is by far the meanest but funniest prank I have ever seen or well heard done to one of the most annoying interruptions we have in our modern life.

In the Spirit of Chirstmas

December 15th, 2008 | Category: humor grab bag

Over the last few years I have had fun making a collection of Christmas Cards. I have enjoyed it so much it has turned from one card to now 5 and has continued to develop into sub-stories and a children book idea. But I don’t think it is worth stringing this out so here is the art from my last few years of Christmas Cards.
