To my UTC Region
1 Colleagues,
I would like to personally invite you to join me and the rest
of your peers in the UTC New England Region 1 for an exciting
two day meeting full of educational and networking opportunities.
We'll meet at the Water's Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook,
Connecticut.
This year's
meeting offers a wealth of information on SCADA issues, next
generation cellular networks, optical fiber infrastructure
options, wireless networks, and new Broadband over Power Line
initiatives.
Attendees at
UTC Regional meetings can now earn Continuing Education Units
(CEUs), which are offered by UTC for any UTC-sponsored event
that is related to personal and professional development.
UTC uses a 1:1 ratio (1 CEU = 1 hour) scale for awarding CEUs,
and a CEU certificate will be provided upon request after
verification of attendance at a UTC Regional meeting. For
more information about CEUs, please contact Stefanie Lagutaris.
Visit the New England Regional Meeting web page to view
the program, register, and take advantage of the early registration
discount. Information about hotel room rates and group discounts
can be accessed on the same web page. The group discount rate
of $145/day is available until August 27th.
This year's meeting is especially important in light of the
new regulatory and security challenges we face. Help your
key telecom and IT associates get ahead of the curve and stay
there. Join us in Westbrook, Connecticut on September 30th
through October 1st.
Sincerely,
Wayne Hamel
Manager, IT Technology
